Recently we have started the succesful production of integrated MCPCB heat sinks on our line. The savings for our customers is fenomenal, no more tedious assembly of heat sinks and MCPCB is necessary, while boasting the lowest thermal resistance in the industry. From our line we are able to produce prototypes up to series production easily due the additive flexible manufacturing process. This is truely the advantage of our hard work into future technology!
Custom thermal simulations

Since I started at BQ I have been developing models to simulate the thermal performance of our products. As a target we want to enable customers to know what junction temperatures to expect, once they order Polar Light MCPCB's from us. The results have been astonishing, showing good correlation with measured results on actual product. The superior thermal performance we find in many cases is 20-30 C lower than a corresponding polymeric MCPCB.
